Your rose is on this list under it's scientific name. I would think it would be safe, I don't know of a rose that is unsafe...yet anyway.

berries, however, are toxic for parrots.

Thank you re: roses, I would never feed any rose to a parrot though, because what if the roses have been sprayed? And I'm a fan of the herbal roses such as the Apothecary Rose and Damask rose, because they have been used medicinally for centuries and I don't feel right giving a parrot any hybrid rose to eat.
And you're so right that Lemon Balm can make you sleepy! Alone, it does help me sleep although it can give me vivid dreams. A friend of mine is really into teas and he said he once had a lemon balm/Valerian herbal tea combination and it basically knocked him out, lol
