Posture

Postby adnan » Wed Mar 12, 2014 3:46 pm

Hi,

My african grey head is not away from the body (since a day normally at night), tail is not in the line of body (since months), wings not crossing at back. What could possibly be wrong? OR is this a normal posture?
Eating and behaving normally, not fluffled up.

VET says she is normal.

Hi Adnan,

I'm confused, could you explain a little by what you mean by "the head not away from the body" and "tail not in line with body"?

Can you take a picture of your bird?

Head is closer to body like in between shoulders, tail is not elevated as much.

So, in other words, she doesn't have a neck?

A picture would be really helpful, if possible.

If she looks as if she was squatting all the time and, most especially if she is fluffed up, she is sick.

I agree. Adnan, take your bird back to the vet for tests.
