As a replacement for not having a bird to take care of, I took up taking care of plants. One of my plants is a dracaena marginata which is in my room. When I was looking up the plant's care, I found that it is a toxic plant when it comes to cats and dogs and would probably at least give a human indigestion.
That said, Fajr was banned from coming into my room anyways since my sister is allergic. However, now that he is actually here and my sister is showing no allergic symptoms at all, the number of areas he's permitted to explore have increased.I usually just put my dracaena into my bed's cabinet whenever he's permitted into my room, but I decided to look up the effects of dracaena on birds anyways and found that....they're listed as plants to feed your conure?
While I have zero intention to actually feed him my dracaena, I'm now wondering if hiding it every time he comes into my room is necessary at all? Does anybody else have information on dracaena and conures?
