Well, everytime i put my Joey outside, he eats his own poop, even though he has food in his cage.
Is this bad for his health?

Yes, it is bad for his health. His poop consists of all of the non digested food, non digestible food and poisons that his body eliminates from itself. This usually means that there is some deficiency of vitamins or minerals in his diet.
