Thanks for the excellent advice. I think for now, I am going to try to turn that room into the bird sanctuary. It's bright and sunny, warm and has a fan and lots of toys already. I'll have my sister move into my bedroom with us and give the birds that front room. They can see the action going on in the living room, but my family members are wise enough to know not to go in there if I am not there. I guess I never really thought about how much Emmy has had to deal with losing through this long process.
I've just thought about it like 'oh, she's in a clean healthy environment' 'she's is a great new cage with toys' 'she's getting good tasty veggies and fruits now' Are there any environmental things I should make sure they have? Or any thing special I should make sure she gets specifically? Today I just started seriously attacking the garage to get the humans moved out of the birds area and leaving just one shelf for bird things and one night stand for the radio and fan. Along with the birds and toys and a chair for prolonged interaction. Would this be a suitable room for four birds?
