Sometimes it just takes timing, I know that in the morning the first thing that my two do as soon as I get the out of their cage is take the big one. My GCC will wait till I put him on his perch but my jenday wants to go up to the top of his door and do it there before he will step up. It's like he says wait one minute. and right after he just steps up. so I put newspaper down under his door knowing that he will do this. and now I know I have about 15 minutes before they have to go again. It's all part of being apart of their lives. They poop you clean it up. You feed them they poop. Just watch him and you will be able to tell when he is about to. :gcc: :jenday:

I dont believe in potty training either, mine just go wherever they like including me. Their poo really isnt difficult at all to clean up, that said I do make sure ollie has done his big morning poop before he comes out the cage as that one is a pain to clean up lol.

They all do what we, birdpeople, call 'the morning bomb' and, sometimes (it depends on the species and diet), it's much more 'liquidy' than the other poops but this is normal and nothing to worry about.
