Purple mark on lovebird beak?

Hello my lovebird Sunny has a purple mark on her beak I know it can be a bruise but maybe it is something else? She is still happy and heathy acting,Please help.

I don't know, Was it always their? I would ask wolf or pajarita if its a tumor. Just a shot in the dark.

It appears to be a bruise, unfortunately I am not sure how far down the beak the blood supply runs. I know that the beak grows out from the area of the nares and that their is blood at that point, it is possible that the bird bumped her "nose" beak up high at the level of the nares and bruised it and this has grown down to the spot that it is now.

If it's a very young lovie, it's just the baby black spot disappearing from the beak.

She is one year old now I hand fed her my self and she never had black on her beak. It's because of her mutation. :D
