Most birdie bread recipes call for corn bread mix. I went to buy some but didn't like the fact that sugar was one of the first ingredients. Instead I opted for Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Baking Flour. The ingredients are Garbanzo Bean flour, Potato Starch, Tapioca Flour, and Fava Bean Flour.
Are all of these ok?
I'm a bit worried about the Garbanzo and Fava Bean flour since I know beans need to be SUPER well cooked before feeding to parrots. Would the flour be ok once it is cooked into a bread? I would of course be adding lots of veggies to this bread to make it healthier. I just want to make sure it's alright before cooking it. Thanks!
