eye ring looks a little saggy..

Think he might have scratched it? Right eye is more pronounced than left in the image, but they're both on the saggy side.

Poop is fine, activity level is unmanageable as always, singing and happy and attention craving. a little clumsy, but nothing unusual for him. Just a saggy eye ring. Inputs?

Obviously, you know your bird much better than I, but from where I am seeing, I do not see anything abnormal about these eyes or surrounding tissues.

Oh!! One of my parrots got this a few weeks ago. It was kind of saggy for one or two days but then it got ok! No idea what it could have been.. He's great now! Your bird looks good thou! :]
Everyone likes birds. What creature is more accessible to our eyes and ears, as close to us and everyone in the world?

Actually, it does look as if the bottom half of the orbital ring is a bit swollen. What kind of jardine do you have, Greater, Lesser or Black-winged? I have a Lesser and her orbital ring is much, much (about twice) wider than yours (I actually got up and went back into the birdroom to look at her just to make sure) but I thought (I could be wrong) that all the jardine species had wide ones - And how old is it? Because I see it has brown eyes and no colored front yet so it must be very young -well, some of them never get the red or orange front until they are much older (it seems to work like the yellow nape spot on the amazons which grows as they get older) so I guess yours could also be one of those..

he's about 1yr 3mo. Greater jardines, but wouldn't surprise me if he has a little blackwing in him. I heard subspecies recognition wasn't accurate when jardines started being bred in the 70s. I bring it up cause he does have a little red... exactly where a greater shouldn't. :P on the tip of his left shoulder.

I can't speak to the eye ring thing.. he does enjoy a good scratching really close to his eye and gives himself scratches very close. think he poked it? I think he poked it..

My birds scratch their eye on a regular basis as well and I am amazed at both the speed of it at times as well as the accuracy. I have yet to see them miss and poke their own eye but it must be a possibility, so maybe he poked his eye.

Ah, well, at over one year old he (do you know for a fact it's a he?) must be one of those Greaters that don't have the small red spot right on the lores. Mine is Lesser female and has a very large bright orange 'cap' as well as what I call her 'pantaloons' and the bends of her wings. But you are right about the not knowing the difference between them and the breeders interbreeding them (same thing happened to the ekkies and we now hardly ever see a pure specimen any more).
