Chance and I...

Postby GreenWing » Mon Sep 01, 2014 6:56 pm

may have eaten a rotten boiled egg.

It was sitting out and after I peeled it, it didn't smell bad, but come to find out, it's been out at room temperature for about a week. :S

I don't feel sick (not yet, as we just ate it) but should we be worried?

Thank you, we both seem to be fine. She's as lively and bossy as ever.

I am so glad that neither of you suffered any ill effects from your snack. Now don't do that no more !

Actually, eggs last a long time even without refrigeration so it might not have been bad at all, my dear. Glad to hear from you and Chance, we missed you!

I am sure that it wasn't rotten and if it had been bad you would have felt it in 30 minutes or less and Chances are that Chance would have refused it.
I know I used to keep fresh laid eggs for up to 2 weeks without refrigeration just turned them once a day and I never had a rotten one, although I did have a few of the fertile one develop too much for my taste.
