I was thinking about some hepato-regenerating supplements because Dino&Zaura have been on a sunflower seed diet for 3 years and I'm sure things are not sunny in there.
I searched for milk thistle extract in Denmark, but I can't find any, only dried milk thistle for tea.
Do you think I could use that, and maybe make a bit of tea to give them?

It would depend on whether it is pure milk thistle or not, and if not pure what the ingredients are.

Actually, the beneficial component of milk thistle is not in the seed itself but in the aril (covering of the seed) and, although giving them the tea will help a bit, it won't be enough for a good cleansing, you need the extract for that. I don't know which online company you have in Sweden but they do sell it in Amazon (do you have it there or something similar?).

My concern is that when they make an herbal like this for a tea that it contains black teas like pekoe and orange pekoe and these teas are high in caffeine. So you will want to watch for that.

It's just milk thistle, Wolf, it's from an organic shop:)
Also, we don't have Amazon or Ebay, but I'll try order it, maybe it can be shipped internationally?!

The health food store in my area carries herbal teas and although they are labeled organic they contain black teas. Pecoe and other teas can be organic as organic does not mean that it is pure or that it is not a blend of other herbs or things. Organic merely refers to the manner in which it was grown.
At least that is how it is in USA, things may be different in Denmark.

I'm pretty sure you can get shipped to you. I correspond with a lady in HongKong (she has an amazon with liver issues) and she orders it online.
