Hi All!
I am new to the forum and have my first question! Do you think it would be okay to use a day light ( for Seasonal Affective Disorder) for a full spectrum light? Or is it not strong enough.

these are the specs on it:

b) 2 light setting

Appreciate your thoughts! :senegal: :senegal:

Sounds like a great bulb for a human but not for what your bird needs. First of all the temperature range is too low and it filters out the uv light that the birds need and the major reason for the full spectrum light in the first place. You need a full spectrum bulb with a CRI of 94+ and with a K Temp of 5000 to 5500 for your bird.

Thanks guys! Do you have a favorite that you would recommend? Ideally just a bulb would be what I am looking for. Thanks! :senegal:

I use these fluorescent tubes: https://www.1000bulbs.com/product/4722/ ... L950P.html but I don't know if you can find them in smaller boxes.
