As to its been jaundice, parrots do get it BUT, by the time they do (and it's real hard to tell with any parrot except for the ones that have a 'naked' face like a scarlet or a B&G), you would have seen yellow/greenish ureates for quite some time so, unless his poop has been abnormal, it should not be from a liver condition.

Vest was sexed before I got him and he is definitely a boy. His poop is normal. He does eat carrots, a lot of carrots. He loves them.

The color could be leaching from the carrots then and it fits with the foot that is yellowish as the majority of parrots are lefties, so I bet that is the foot that he holds the carrots in.

I'll be watching the next time he holds food to see which claw he uses.

I posted a frontal shot of Kiki, my 5 yr. old Senegal Female to show you the picture of the area that I was looking to see on your bird and I believe that she thought that it was a picture of your bird.

Yes, I see and understand that Wolf. Btw, Vest holds food in his left claw as you indicated.

Try offering shredded, raw carrots to your bird and blot them dry first and see if the color fades any. My Senegal loves apples, your Jardines is of the same genus and may enjoy them as well, just remove the core as they can't have the seeds of the apple as they are slightly toxic to them. A couple here and there won't hurt them but I don't like to tempt fate. Also my Kiki does eat bananas a little but barely but she loves the banana peel which she mostly just destroys but she does eat a fair amount of the inner portion of it. just wash it well before you peel it so that you can offer him a strip of it.

No, I was going by the picture of the feet with the different colors where it seems that the green V reaches all the way down, just like a female's would.

Can't see it, it appears as a little square with an X in the middle -and no, I can't help you, I am not good with computers. I put my pictures in Photobucket, copy the shortcut for image and that is the sum total of my knowledge on posting pictures on websites
