I don't peel the carrots (vitamins in the peel). I just wash them real good and chunk them.
If he picks up the food with the same foot, could it be colored by the carrot itself?

Yes, Liz, it could, that's why I asked if he had been eating carrots or playing with a colored toy.

I can see the picture now and it still looks like a female to me (long V, standing low to the perch, rounded head)

What method of sexing him did they use? I as because there is more than one way that they use, but only the DNA testing is 100%.

Wolf is correct. Unless the breeder provided you with an independent lab certificate, it's not 100%.

I do have the lab certificate which says my bird is a male.

May I request one more picture? It is also about the visual sexing of a Senegal parrot. It is a picture of the underside of the bird, showing the feathers from the legs back to the tail. The males have a pure yellow color to the tail covert whereas the females have at least some green feathers here.
