Is my baby budgie male or female?

Postby Alfie » Wed Nov 26, 2014 10:50 pm

I just bought a blue baby Budgie from Petco today. She/He seems very shy and hasn't moved since being bought. In the pet store, she/he seemed to be sleepy but had a good temperament (wasn't biting like the aggressive purple budgie who came up, bit him/her, and then started "kissing" (?) her). The cere is very pale pink and more grayish white in the center. I'll try to attach pictures tomorrow.

This bird should not have been sleepy during the day unless it were sick. Need to see pictures asap as well as more information.

Yep, sleepy budgies are usually sick -healthy ones are quite active.

I'm worried about that :( (see my other post). He/she has only moved about two inches over last night and all day today, but I just caught him eating some seeds by stretching up to the feeder from the cage floor. Also, I can't figure out how to post pictures, can someone help me?
