I do wish he looked more like the birds in the pics. But I don't now if he could hold all that metal up. With only one good leg. Nigel had a hard time dealing with his harness. He just don't deal with much of anything Put on him well

Victor there is no metal there, I know that it looks like there is, but it is just a drawing of the bone placement overlayed on the wing. If you get a decent picture with your phone I will give you my email address and you can mail it to me, if you want.

Having just one good leg should not make any difference because the bandage itself is not heavy at all (they don't use actual wood splints or anything, it's just gauze with a vetwrap on top).

Sorry I was without the net for a time. Terns out a wire was loss. I ended up taking the outer shell off. It was only to keep him from chewing at the wound. So when he was off the pain meds. I took it off. Leaving the rape under it. Tomorrow he sees the vet. And with luck I can start to work the wing. Stay tuned lol I will let you now how the wing looks when I see it.

Ok we are back. And the wing did heal. But it is frozen. Not a big shocker. It is also starting to fall out of place. Am hopping this is also do to the wing being out of shape. Time will tell. As there is still a small amount of healing. I will whait for it to finish before asking anything of the wing. He is going to stay in his carrying crat a bit longer. For one I have not found his new cage yet. And two. I don't want him to ask much of the wing yet.

Good deal so far. I do hope that it unlocks later, on but for now you definitely don't want him to strain it any.

Yea it is easer as am not expecting to much. For now it looks like he will keep his wing. And that's a nuff for now. It means he mite fly one day. Like the vet sead. It looks like he will keep the wing. So I don't have to kill your hopes!
