I hear you and I am just trying to educate myself further. I was comparing the different birds that are shown as aviary birds but never really saw anything definitive that I could say that is the basic criteria for this classification. That part of the post was just me trying to begin a conversation with the OP. Sort of opening the door for conversing about his bird.
He's almost 1 now and so far so good Parajita. You once mentioned to me that once his clipped wings grew in and he were able to fly, that things would be different and he wouldn't be as affectionate with us. It's been the total opposite. Now that he starting to fly, he cannot be left unattended cause he'll fly to one of the three of us at my apartment. It's a great feeling but I'll let you know if that changes. Let's hope not
I am also glad he still wants a close relationship with you and I really do hope from the bottom of my heart that he will turn out to be the exception to the rule but, at one, he is still not completely sexually mature (he is like a 13 year old boy, beginning to feel his oats but still a momma's boy at heart )
