Yes, both my greys are in high breeding mode right now, they started earlier than the other species and the others are already nesting.

I give mine a tree nut with their dinner and, of course, they eat it first not only because they like them better but also because I give each one a nut from my hand before I start serving their dinners (first I pick up all the dirty breakfast plates and uneaten food, then I check the water bowls to make sure they are clean, then I sweep the floor and then and only then I give them their dinner). I say each bird's name followed by the word 'peanut' (all seeds and nuts are peanuts to them), said bird approaches (yes, even the mean wild-caught), I give him/her the nut and immediately say: "Thank you!". Then I do another bird and then another until all of them have their nut (I always start with the same bird and follow the same order). And then and only then do I give them their dinner. They know the routine and go eat their dinner without a problem. The trick is to start a routine and continue it.
