This has actually nothing to do with parrots but it caught my attention because people tend to dismiss alternative medicine such a herbals or homemade remedies as not as effective as prescription medicines but, as you can all see, it's simply not true. The other reason is that a lot of people would use these remedies too freely or the wrong way (like that terrible Herb Salad they sell for birds) and that is as dangerous as taking the wrong prescription.
