ROFLMAO Leave it to you to like two of the most needy birds inexistence a CAG and a GCC. The CAG requires just as much one on one time as a GCC, although the Cag is more aloof about it. Still if it does not receive the attention that it wants it is prone to plucking. Cag's like a more hands off approach in that they are not big on being touched and petted, but they do like to perch on you quietly or right next to you. They are also very jealous of their time with you. Kookooloo, can't stand to have another bird on me while she is with me and will make every effort to chase it away.

Well, it's not that it's impossible to have both a CAG and a GCC but you will need to devote hours and hours just to keep them happy - and even doing this, they will not be happy seeing you with another bird while they are in their cages (my female Senegal HATES my GCC because she sees me with her on my shoulder every day and flies like a bat out of hell into the room where she lives to attack her at the first opportunity she gets). Most likely, you won't even be able to let them out together at the same time because both of them will want to be ON you.

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what to do about this grey in the shelter. She is a wild caught, she is quite bonded to me, she will lie down on her back in my hand.

She is beautifuly feathered, she is small for a CAG, she seems relatively quiet and serene for a CAG. The other workers at the rescue say that I am the only one she seems to like. She seems to calm down around me. I can even hand her to the other workers and she is fine, as long as I am there.

I just don't know if it's a good idea to adopt her. I don't know how my GCC will take it. My GCC is used to being out of the cage all day. I don't want to do something that will result in both birds having to be caged most of the time.

I am assuming that these pictures mean that you adopted this Grey Lady?

Well, I think we already covered this subject but, if we haven't: both GCCs and CAG's tend to be one person birds and highly jealous of any other bird we might give our attention to but, having said that, if you have plenty of time in your hands and can work something out infrastructure-wise, it can be done.
