Prolapse from potty training

Postby Pajarita » Sun May 10, 2015 11:36 am

I keep on telling people this is a VERY dangerous thing to do but I was thinking more of toxins been reabsorbed from not evacuating feces timely or the long-term danger of incontinence never even thinking of cloacal prolapse, a terrible, terrible condition. Also, please notice that the owners did NOT change diet or husbandry even after it happened the first time and, of course, it happened again and this time required difficult surgery. We keep on thinking of parrots as feathered dogs and they are not!

I'm afraid we are going to find more and more problems with all these unnatural trainings as the years go by....

When i got on here, i was positive that i was going to potty train. But since having him, it really isn't that bad. he might poop in an undesired sport once a day maybe, but 98% of the time, will poop in areas easy to clean :)
