Avian Vet

I can't find any Avian Vets near Citrus county FL. I can't even find a groomer that does nails.
Anybody know of one? I need to find one before I need it.

First result from a google search is Homosassa Animal and Bird Hospital, address 8177 W Grover Cleveland Blvd, Homosassa, FL 34446. Phone (352) 628-4200

If you want to find more vets to compare and contrast try searching "Citrus county FL avian vet", google gave me a respectable sized list of them.

But one should not get 100% obsessed with finding a Certified Avian Vet because there are vets who are not board certified but have been treating 'exotics' for years that are as good or better than an avian vet (the best bird vet I've ever had was not certified).

I emailed the lady from Lucky Parrot who I contacted for info before I got Myrtle.
She gave me the names of avian vets who donate time to her rescue. They are both in Citrus County. She even told me that one is really close but she liked the other one better.
Just didn't get there yet.

Thank you for the help. I will search the web sight you gave me if I don't like them. I not only want them to be good. They have to be good to my babies or I don't go back.
