Grit

Postby LJ4RockPebbler » Mon Jun 08, 2015 11:52 pm

I have a one year old rock pebbler and from my past research I had found out that this particular breed did not need grit in their diet, like other birds, to help aid in their digestion. Today I stumble onto something that says that I do. Any ideas?

I know of no reason to feed your parrot grit as based on the manner in which it eats, hulling the seed before eating it, there appears to be no known need for it. I further offer this as a reference http://www.birdsnways.com/wisdom/ww58eii.htm
Please post a link to the source saying that your bird requires any grit in its diet as I would like to see it.
