Food Schedule For Cockatiels

Yes, iron is needed but they get more than enough from natural food (greens like kale and dandelion, peas and beans, berries, etc) and even that you have to watch so you don't give them food that is high in iron frequently. Plus, you are feeding pellets and they already have iron in them so anything that is fortified with it is a no-no, especially at human levels.

I dont feed pellets anymore because the petshop dosent have them and I would rather them eat veg than pellets.Also I was wondering is the cockatiel Vitakraft seed mix good I am currently giving them Versele laga and my mam got Tiko Vitakraft seed mix for African greys and I was thinking of changing to Vitakraft.

Of the Vitakraft seed mixes for cockatiels I like this one the best.
