Bird Health Insurance

Postby pfinarffle » Sun Mar 21, 2010 3:16 pm

Does anyone in the US have health insurance for their flock? Am researching whether or not it's worth it. Seems like some insurers will reimburse you fully for routine check-ups, which is great. But what about birds with a "pre-existing condition" ie known, chronic illness. Can they be denied insurance? Am wondering what others' experiences have been, and which insurers they might've gone under. Any input appreciated!

No, but I'm sure it's next on the agenda in Washington.
