High-strung babies

Postby Pajarita » Fri Jul 24, 2015 10:45 am

This is VERY interesting and I wonder how does this apply to very young parrots that seem to 'turn' on their owners (parent role) before they become sexually mature... is it possible that it's because of high stress at the breeders?

That was very interesting and poses some interesting possibilities in other areas as well.

That makes sense and explains why the flock feeds babies that come out of the nest. When Shadow and Sweetie had babies, Lemone' couldn't wait to get to them. He would stand by the opening of the nest and wait. When Tommy and Tammy had babies, Shadow would even stick his head in the nest and sing to them.

When I put Friskies the Starling out with a flock they all fed him. But a dusk when they went to roost he came back to the window.
