Heads-up on apples!

Geez, it's not only that the regular ones have over 30 different chemicals on each of them, it's lacquer, too!

I am very lucky to live in the Fruit capital of Canada and there are lots of organic growers. I try to stay away from GMO too. It is sure hard to do and takes a lot of looking.

The problem with apples (and pears, peaches, nectarines, etc) is that their skin is so very thin that all the bad chemicals go right through it and end up been absorbed into the flesh of the fruit so scrubbing and/or peeling don't really work, Liz. You need to buy organic.
