Budgie cere

Postby RenLynn » Mon Nov 02, 2015 5:21 pm

Hi, I have had my budgie for a month now and in the 2 week of owning him his cere starting peeling. His cere would get dry and peel then go normal again, now his cere is dry and has brown skin that comes off but other then that his cere is blue/purple under the brown. And the brown is only on small parts of his cere. He is 7 months old and healthy, could it be mites? :budgie:
With great power comes great responsibility.

No, it sounds as if you have a hen going into condition - but this is not the time of the year for it so you must be keeping her to a human light schedule instead of a solar one - or maybe feeding too much protein.
