Wolf, Leanna already apologized if she took Pajarita wrong. I really think you should have just have accepted her apology instead of posting the same thing basically as you did before her apology. She is a new member, it takes a while to see that Pajarita has good intentions.

Leanna, I understand exactly what you must have felt and why. You were very nice to explain and apologize. Very few people have apologized on this forum when they realize they took something wrong. You have my deep respect for that.

Point taken seagoatdeb, my second reply had nothing to do with her apology. It was not my place to accept or to reject her apology that was between her and Pajarita, however I think that there was nothing to apologise about there was a simple misunderstanding which I was hoping to show a different approach to so as to avoid it in the future. My next post was in response to her statement that she would quit posting, which is by no means what I want of find to be desirable in any way.
Although I think that quitting posting over such a small thing is overreacting, I did not want to say that for fear that it would be misunderstood and still I was unable to avoid a misunderstanding. Maybe I misunderstand the statement that Leanna would quit posting, or did I? I don't know, you tell me. I value Leanna's opinion quite highly and don't want her to quit posting, she has too much to offer for such a travesty to happen if it can be avoided.
This was one of the pitfalls that I was afraid of occurring when I accepted this moderator position, the loss of the ability to post as myself and not as the moderator. Oh well, nothing ventured nothing gained. I have other forums that I can post on without the stigma of being a moderator. So, maybe it is time for me to take a short time off except for as moderator.

I hope you don't, Wolf. You are one of the best moderators of any birdsite I've ever been in. This is a 'hard' birdsite to moderate and I don't envy you your position because, as it really strives for excellence instead of the usual mediocrity found everywhere else, it requires a lot of debate and makes for a difficult environment for new people to adjust to.

No, you misunderstand me, I will still be here as moderator, I am not going anywhere. I just want to be able to post and comment as myself and perhaps, shutting my mouth for a while here except as moderator will help me not lose me in this process. Just for a short while.

I am not leaving. I did not want to post again on this chain because I did not feel comfortable here, You constantly misunderstand me so there was not point in posting here. I will try to be more clear in the future so you can "hear" me. I think you may have a bit of misconception about posting as yourself and posting as a moderator. Your posts as a moderator should not attribute motives to people or judge them. They should be impartial judgement calls. All other posts are your personal posts. Unless you say that I am posting now as moderator, I assume its you posting as yourself. If you dont fully understand what I say please ask me and dont over react like this. I will tell you.
