Aloe Vera

What kind of Aloe vera juice do you use? I wanted to get organic, middle filet juice, but when I ordered it, it came with all sorts of other things in the juice, including mint.

I want to use this to help a bird with fatty liver disease. I want the organic and the middle filet only, because I figure a bird who already has a compromised liver doesn't need to deal with anything that might be marginal.

Have you tried looking in your local health or vitamin store? I get it from the local Vitamin Shoppe where I have an account (they send you a discount coupon at the end of the year based on how much you spent there).

Un fortunately the aloe that I get is from the only health food store in my area although it is still 35 miles from my house, so it is a private label. But it is 100% organic, alcohol free aloe vera juice from the inner fillet. I buy it in a 1 gallon size because of the distance that I have to go to get it. It is also where I get the milk thistle that I use for liver issues. Six ounces of the milk thistle runs me about $80.00, so it is rather expensive, I don't recall the price of the aloe.
