Parents that share do better

All parrot species are like that and some of them actually allow single individuals to help out, too (like budgies and quakers, for example).

In parrot there are varieties of species and they are varying with their all behaviors. Here the two special species budgies and Quakers. I heard about a story that he was given a beautiful Cockatiel a while back. And was in quarantine in another part of the house away from Quaker. And my conclusion is this parrot site will be very helpful to the people who are love the parrot or birds.

I had Shadow and Sweetie, who were a mated pair, hatched 2 babies. Lemone' and Twinkle were bonded but dysfunctional when trying to mate. I separated the pairs and put them in smaller cages beside each other. When the babies came out of the nest Lemone' was way too interested and I was afraid he would hurt the babies so I kept them separate. Then I noticed that the babies as well as Lemone' were trying to get together. I took a chance and put them all back in the big cage. The first thing they did was get together and Lemone' fed them. He became the nanny. When this happened Shadow and Sweetie gave them up and no longer cared for them. I had room and was going to keep them but at 6 months old they were still following Lemone' and begging. He just could not resist them and started loosing weight and looking ruffled. I had to find them a good home e to let up on Lemone'.
