obsessive preening in Tilly?

Postby Chantilly » Fri Dec 18, 2015 1:50 am

Ok, so not sure what to call this, it started about a month ago, and its only ever to the one feather. Ive given her allot more things to do scince to try to entertain her more and give her more exciting things to do. At first she was shredding the feather now she is holding it in her foot and giving her self a scrath on the head with it. And when i give her a scratch, I normally end up with a nasty angry Tilly. (lol im walking around the house to keep her occupied while typing this so she dosnt keep flyin off!)
Heres what her feather looks like, i havent been able to get a pictue of her preening with it, sorry. Also: she has preening toys and cuddle toys in her cage, so.. also I am in the process of making her new toys(sawing wood is hard work lol!)
Thanks guys :)

It'll fall off on its own. They sometimes look like that before they do.
