, some of my birds feathers are halfway bald. The black on the feathers on your bird are stress marks, or it means it has not had a lot of time siting in the sun. Hope this helps!

Young birds ALWAYS have ruffled and messed up feathers up until they are about 2 years old , some of my birds feathers are halfway bald. The black on the feathers on your bird are stress marks, or it means it has not had a lot of time siting in the sun. Hope this helps!
