It gets switched at lunch, im still working on her diet though. I want to get rowdybush pellets instead of vetafarm.

Please make sure the apricot is organic and naturally dried - the regular dry apricot is treated with lots of chemicals (it's on the dirtiest list) and sulfites to preserve color and texture so they are not good for parrots, the 'good' one looks like crap but they are healthier.

These are 'regular' apricots:http://www.puritan.com/apricots-952/turkish-apricots-037087

If you look in the diet section, you will find three different recipes of gloop.

Thankyou very much, have you got a very simple gloop recipe.. Like one with 3 to 4 ingredients.. And what's the correct portion for a conure, for all food??

Don't feel bad, Chantilly! We all went through a very steep learning curve when it comes to their diets and we all fed them (and most likely still feed them) stuff that was not good for them.

The easiest gloop recipe, BabyBird, is the one made with the Kashi 7 whole grain Pilaf, I think. I have been making it for so long that I no longer find the 'longer' version hard but it has taken years of tweaking, trials and learning how to tell quantities and when the grains are ready by just looking at them so don't feel bad if you are not 100% successful at the beginning, just keep on trying. The good thing is that parrots are actually very forgiving and, once they get used to it, they will eat it if it's a bit too gloopy or a bit too hard, bless their hearts!
