Pod had some beech nut

Postby DanaandPod » Sun Jan 03, 2016 6:08 pm

I was in the grocery store... When the vision fell upon me... Alas! Baby food! And, so, I was able to get him to eat pumpkin. Well, pumpkin and apple sauce...with lemon juice concentrate and Cinnamon that is. All natural... So, I decided to spread the news across social media only to find out that others have done this. I had to find out on my own. Is a little concentrate OK? I hope so because I could hardly pry him from the jar. P.s. I haven't been free feeding. Aaaaand, Tuesday he's getting another cage to help enlarge his current one.

You and Pod have a nice strong bond. Yes they like fruit and veg baby food. They also like juices. Yesterday for the first time in a long time I gave mine about a tablespoon of pineapple juice each. Rambo knew what it was and went at it and purred the whole time he was drinking. Myrtle will have to learn from Rambo since she has never seen juice before.

Yes, they love baby food and it's a great way of getting some good healthy food into them when they are not used to eating it by themselves. You can mix it with cooked grains -even old=fashioned oatmeal if you have nothing else.

Thanks. :). Well, he's been eating a little barley and wheat bulgar on their own. I heard beech but is best. I look forward to seeing what other veggies mixed with fruit they have. Its a small miracle.
