It's starting to look a little better, swelling wise! Not sure about the yellow in the middle though... I'll leave that to someone who knows more about this kind of stuff, though.

I dont know allot about this either, but to me it looks like skin starting to cover over the sore, which If I am correct, would be good!.

Yes, it seems to be healing. I notice he is clipped, have you considered allowing his feathers to grow so he can fly? Because grounding them is also very stressful to them, you know? It takes away their instinctual 'flee' response (flying is the number one predator avoidance mechanism nature gave to prey birds) and leaves them vulnerable to predators which causes anxiety in them...
