Yes, it seems to be healing. I notice he is clipped, have you considered allowing his feathers to grow so he can fly? Because grounding them is also very stressful to them, you know? It takes away their instinctual 'flee' response (flying is the number one predator avoidance mechanism nature gave to prey birds) and leaves them vulnerable to predators which causes anxiety in them...
