I've gotten calls at home regarding my purchases from 3 different locations.

I read that Parrots cannot get Listeria. Does anyone have any more info regarding if that is true?

Parrots can be infected by listeria which then causes a bacterial encephalitis.

Yes both people and parrots can get Listeria, I was in a rush to make sure every group I am in could get the information, I dont want to see parrot or human get ill, so thats why I did not give much explanation at the time.

By the time that Michael had contacted me this had already been posted as well as many others by other people. I just thought that it would be best to post about it where the most members would see it. I am not pointing a finger at anyone person and will not remove anything that was posted before I tried to explain what Michael wanted to as many members as I could reach.

I actually saw this recall on MSN and thought about posting a thread about it, but your link is better than what I had.
