This is an oldie but goodie and, although it doesn't really cover as much as I would like it to, it does give a good perspective on what they find attractive. Is there anything that you can think that they are missing? I will start with one of their examples: the budgie. Male budgies actually 'learn' the female's dialect in order to woo them. Do you know of any other courtship 'trick' of any particular species?

Oh, come on! Nobody has a single one? I will give you two more: the male senegal 'dance' and the male cockatoo building of the nest.

OK, one more from me: female patagonians prefer males that have larger and brighter red patches in their bellies.
