This is a study made on wild birds and the effect of feather protein-eating bacteria on their plumage - something I did not know existed and which I am now wondering if it might not have something to do with Feather Destructive Behavior in pet birds and whether they can be tested for it. Unfortunately, this piece does not show any pictures or have any description of what plumage affected by it looks like...
