Correct. Adult birds eat, mostly, twice a day. Once in the morning (at dawn) and once in the evening (at dusk) BUT they need food in their cages all the time (well, except at night when they are sleeping), especially juveniles (which is what you have), only the food left all day long cannot be a protein source (seeds, pellets, avicakes, nutriberries, nuts, etc). I feed mine gloop with raw produce in the morning and for all day picking and a dinner of seeds/nuts in the evening.
