Just back from the Vets

Oscar is just back from the vets, His weight has improved from 328g to 345g he was originally 350g and then start losing weight so that's a big improvement.They even gave me a free scale which is better than the one I had and I'll also be able to weigh the new baby easier since it has a bowl and he weighs 61g on an empty crop.She told me that most of the birds she sees are usually in bad condition and Oscar is in perfect condition and she said his diet is great.

I don't trust vets that tell me my bird is doing great by just looking at it...

He was getting his weight checked thats all, She just mentioned that his feathers are in great condition and was probably comparing him to the bad looking birds she seen before.
