Gloop base [grain mix]

I discovered a new mix of grains by Bob's Red Mill. I can't use it because I don't feed my birds rye, brown rice or buckwheat but, if you do, this would come in pretty handy, I think.

I know why you don't feed your pets brown rice, but why don't you feed buckwheat? ( does it also contain arsenic? )

No, it doesn't but when I used it years ago one of my birds started plucking so I stopped - just in case [severe allergic reactions have been reported]. Buckwheat is another one of those grains that is not a grain. It's a seed and it's also very high in protein [18 percent with a biological value of over 90!] and very high in iron so I don't use it at all.
