Not to be too heartless, though -- how is the birdie doing?

 ^ favorite thing I've read today! I love that you put the effort in to make the NINCOMOOP meaning actually sound good.

I would also like to know how the little budgie is doing.

I'm in on the poop contest!

My bird, Chester, is doing fine. He actually stood on my finger! yayyy
but he has been breathing deeply and shaking still as it seems.

Did anyone's bird do that?

Sometimes Scooter seems like that if he's been more active than normal, or is drying off from a bath. Their little hearts go very fast and their normal respiration is quite rapid, sometimes it seems as if the whole bird is fluttering. You could go to the pet store and watch the budgies there for a while, maybe it would reassure you about what is or isn't normal.

I dont think i'll join in on the poop contest..haha

The bird is actually doing better! I'm glad, I almost took it back. *phew*
The bird looks really bored in the cage because it doesn't know what the toys I gave him are..
He eats kinda slow though. I mean compared to my friends bird, the bird literally like attacked the food. Haha.
How should I give him a shower?

Poop often changes color depending on what was recently eaten. Try feeding rasperries! If your bird seems healthy, I think it is good to observe and determine what is normal... then when it changes, you'll probably notice, and may catch something early before there are other signs or illness.
