Supplements not good as balanced diet

But, when it comes to birds, I would use the word 'nutritious' instead of 'balanced' because birds do not have a balanced diet in terms of every day or even every week, they are seasonal feeders. But, when it comes to vitamins and minerals, it's absolutely correct that food-derived ones are immensely superior to man-made (one of the problems I have with pellets).
