Empathy in birds

Postby Pajarita » Mon May 27, 2019 8:54 am

They did the study on ravens but I would think that parrots are as empathetic as ravens. I know that most of us would like to say that parrots are MORE empathetic than ravens but, in reality, ravens and parrots are very similar in all the genetic traits that would 'explain' empathy: they are highly social, monogamous, they mate for life and are VERY intelligent -they use tools, just like parrots do.
