Sweet potatoes!

I cannot stress enough how GOOD sweet potatoes are for birds! It's the PERFECT food! Very nutritious with lots of good betacarotene and fiber, cheap (they don't ever need to be organic because there is something in them that actually prevents bad stuff from getting into their meat), always available, easy to cook (boil, bake, nuke) and ALL birds adore them (and if that is not the best recommendation, I don't know what is!).
