Against Red Palm Oil

Postby Pajarita » Mon Sep 23, 2019 9:47 am

For one thing, we now know that large amounts of betacarotene can causes cancer, for another, this is really a useless supplement as parrots get more than enough betacarotene from a good diet and last but not least, the production of this oil is causing incalculable environmental loss - from natural habitats to actual killing of orangutans! If you are still giving your bird this, please reconsider.

Mother orangutan stabbed, shot 74 times, left blind with a baby she couldn't care for - this is the price of Red Palm Oil cultivation.
