White in poop NOT uric acid!!!!

Defying many years of popular and apparently wrong scientific wisdom, it has been found that the white paste in birds poop is NOT uric acid!!! As a matter of fact, there is NO uric acid whatsoever in birds poop! But the scientists that discovered this do not tell us what the heck it is!
