would a parrot even care about a fart? it's not like their smell is all that sensitive. It's still bizarre that you'd hold a parrot in front of your ass...hope he gets a nice chomp somewhere sensitive. ugh this reminds me of a pic I once saw, I think it was from rotten.com...but it involved a macaw perching on something VERY inappropriate to be perching on...all I could think was "ouch"

I made a point to mention that it probably isn't as harmful as some of the other videos on here, as there is no dog or cat that could possibly kill her and she is not being given anything considered poisonous to birds.
I personally don't see how it makes it any less awful, even if the bird isn't affected by the smell. She is clearly reacting from a place of discomfort and therefore I think she cares.

Regardless of anything; it is an unbelievably idiotic way to respond to your parrot being nippy and makes me very sad. D:

i was more reacting to the way they are holding the parrot and grabbing it when it very clearly wants to get away. plus its humiliating and animals to have feelings

:o   Those poor birds! Those evil bird owners! They brother and sister used to let my conures do that to them when I let them play with them and they were letting the bird chew on thier teeth! :P BLAH!!! And there was this 1 person I know and he had a macaw :macaw: and a cat. The cat wanted to eat this bird you see. So when the cat stuck his paw in the cage the bird bit it and ever since the cat has been afraid of the bird!
But really that's just wrong. :o

I believe that some people should have done special test before they take in their care alive animal, not plush toy.
Unfortunately there is a lot of idiots on this word that take a pet(any pet generally) and think that providing food and roof is enough.
I hate when somebody is buying a new pet for their spoiled child. Kids very fast are bored and their "new toy" is suffered, not once left by itself in a cage until it's too late to even vet help...

I wanted my own house pet for my entire childhood, but my parents waited until I was in the fifth grade to get my first real pet. By that age, I was able to fully understand the understanding of taking care of another life.

Some people are really dumb. I agree with my-budgies that people should take a test before they get the animal. But sometimes the person buying it is giving it away to a friend. :(
I feel bad for all the mistreated birds out there.

I was one of the people using teflon until I read my bird books and found that it can cause some serious damage. So now my pans are being replaced with something else.

I felt absolutely awful when I found out though! :(
