Why a large range of produce?

Postby Pajarita » Tue Mar 17, 2020 10:05 am

This is an article meant for humans and it explains why one should not eat the same thing day after day after day but this is equally important for birds. I cannot tell you how many times I've adopted a parrot and the previous owners tells me (because I always ask) that he/she ate: apples and oranges - or apples and green peppers and, in one case, dried papaya only! I've never had a single bird I adopted where I have gotten a 'decent' list of produce that the bird consumed regularly.
